Vishwakarma Research Internship Scheme (VRIS) – For Faculty
The management of BRACT promotes research projects to be undertaken by the faculty pursuing research in various areas. To strengthen it, VIIT has set up special interest groups, research mentor and mentee schemes and research internship is further step towards it. The aim of the VRIS is to strengthen the research activity in various areas by providing research interns to work on the problems, where faculty can visualize the problems, chalk out the plan and young minds can work on it with some addition and out of the box thinking from their side.
Silent Features:
- Minimum one of the following has to be completed before evaluation: A publication of a research paper in an international / national peer reviewed, indexed journal International Conference / Filing a patent is mandatory.
- Some of the quickly quantifiable outputs are publications / IPRs / funding etc

Vishwakarma Student Research Internship Scheme (VSRIS) – For UG Students
The management of BRACT promotes research projects to be undertaken by the faculty pursuing research in various areas. To strengthen it, VIIT has set up special interest groups, research mentor and mentee schemes and research internship is further step towards it. Aim of the student research internship scheme is to encourage students to participate in research activities and to prepare them to respond to the current and future needs of the industry. This is also to inculcate research culture, so that more number of students shall opt for higher education and research career.
These research internships shall help students, wish to pursue further education viz. M.S. and M.Tech, for writing their Statement of Purpose and to get research intern certificate with research experience. This shall help to get good universities and research assistantship in early career.
